CARLOS GUEVARA

Carlos Guevara Architects (Venezuela) and CGA Design (USA) are firms specializing in the design and execution of high-end sustainable architecture projects.
Since CGA's formation in Caracas, Venezuela, through its solid trajectory of more than 25 years, and recently launched CGA Design, in the US, our firms have collectively completed over three hundred international projects, including, besides Venezuela, locations like New York City, Miami, and Houston (USA), Mexico City and Guadalajara (Mexico), Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic), and several cities across Spain. Some of these projects have been developed in collaboration with other architects or architectural firms, including Claudio Silvestrin and Giuliana Salmaso.
A comprehensive service specialized in Architecture, Interior Architecture, and Custom Furniture Design, along with solid experience in both residential and commercial projects in varied scopes, make CGA a versatile architectural firm capable of developing projects within a wide range of complexity, types, and scales, while accurately preserving the integrity of the original concept throughout every phase of the process, from start to completion. A clear example of this is a portfolio with more than thirty projects published in specialty magazines.
Thoughtful consideration is devoted to the selection of collaborators for each project. In that sense, CGA is honored to count on highly talented and creative professionals who make it possible to achieve Carlos Guevara’s ultimate goal: to create a contemporary and universal architecture that withstands time and transcends fashion trends and styles, promoting the integration between man and Nature, and significantly enriching and elevating the quality of modern life.

Carlos Guevara
Autodidact architect with an uncompromised imagination and innate inspiration to integrate forms and spaces, Carlos Guevara finds in the architectural language the way to express the images generated by both his creative mind and his passion for design, aesthetics, and functionality.
Light plays a predominant roll in his work. He uses natural light, and designs artificial lighting, in order to manipulate the perception of the space and to adapt it to the needs and particular emotions of those who experience it. Noble materials that are essential to the project are subject to a thorough analysis and treated as architectural elements with the support of vanguard and sustainable construction technologies.
Relationships with clients are based on collaboration, on building partnerships aiming to assure the execution of projects that accurately satisfy the requirements and desires of the client in perfect harmony with the architect’s vision. Exceeding clients’ expectations and those set for the projects themselves, by providing human and architectural values, is of utmost relevance.
For Carlos Guevara, the ultimate goal is to create a contemporary and universal architecture that withstands time and transcends fashion trends and styles. He tries to achieve such goal by creating spaces that promote the integration between man and Nature and significantly enrich and elevate the quality of modern life.
